Cycling the Solent

Oh my, it's nearly been a month since the last post! Sorry about that. Life gets sooooooo busy. We've done loads in the past month but to be honest I can't remember most of it! Urh... we swung around in the trees with my sister on her birthday, we've had our old, old (as oppose to just old) house mates down for the weekend and I've now signed and returned an employment offer letter for Bunt & Associates in Vancouver! Now I think they use that as part of the process of applying to employ me rather than a Canadian. It all takes time. I think it'll be September or October before we know. And then we have to apply for the work permit!

Anyway, today I cycled from Stokes Bay in Gosport back to Southampton, mainly along the Solent Way, which is a long distance footpath running along the coast. 24km I reckon, including one ferry and one huge bridge. Very invigorating!

We're aiming to book our summer holiday today as well. We're planning on going to Sweden and Denmark. I've never been to Scandinavia, so am really looking forward to it.
