Hello. You may have noticed I haven't updated this blog for a month or so. I've not been sure what to write because the news is that my Dad has died. He had a brain tumor and he passed away on August 26th. I had flown back from Canada a few days previously. Steph was here as well, but she flew back to Vancouver last Saturday. I'm flying back this coming Saturday. I've been trying to help my mum make changes and sort things out. It all still feels surreal though and I think the full impact of it all will only hit me later. We're going down to Devon tomorrow for a couple of days, to Salcombe, to scatter the ashes at my parents favorite place and where they went on holiday every year since they met.
