About Turn

It's funny to see the UK on the news, covered in snow, with cars and buses stranded, going nowhere fast. While over here we're getting quite mild weather with mainly blue skies. A couple of weeks ago it was the other way round, with Vancouverites floundering around in knee deep white stuff.

Well, our friends Bec and Dave arrived on Thursday and have been madly apartment hunting since. Dave especially seems to have very high standards he's after: sea view, mountain view, room in apartment for windsurf board, close to the beach, close to downtown, breakfast bar, cherry tree wood floors. Ok, I lied about the last part. Its walnut floors. Anyway, its great to see them and will be fun hanging out with them this year. Bec and Dave - welcome to Canada!
