Laura and Iain are down for the weekend. We went off to Cypress Mountain on the North Shore for some cross country skiing with them and Bec and Dave. Here is the video. There are also a few photos. Cros country is very different from regular skiing. The skis and boots are totally differnt - way more comfortable for starters! The boots are only attached to the skis at the front and you attempt a more sliding forward motion, often in little tracks that have been made inthe ground. It sems very unstable in nature and we were all falling over. However, it was also great fun!
My mum will be here in two weeks! Time goes past so quickly.
