Parents have come and gone

First, an apology. Sorry for the long time between updates. We have been busy with my mum and currently with Steph's parents. Its been great having them to stay and I'll post more photos soon. The week with my mum went very fast. Among other things, we had a guided tour round Granville Island and went for a 28km cycle ride, all along the coast of Vancouver. Then I had what will probably be my last blast of snowboarding for the season up at Whistler as we took mum up there to spend a week with Laura and Iain. My mum flew back last Sunday. Meanwhile, we went away over the Easter long weekend with Steph's parents to Washington. We stayed at a little town called Port Townsend. It is very historical (for the Pacific North West anyway) and has a lot of charm and character. We actually stayed in the nearby Fort Warden, ina 100 year old officer's cottage. Complete with period rocking chair - very cool. We poppsed in to admire the not-quite-fully-out-yet tulips at teh Skagit Tulip festival on the way back on Monday. Everything is so later this year as its stayed cold longer than normal.

So, once we've waded through 100's of tulip photos, I'll be sure to upload the top few.
