It's time for another blog refresh! And this one's the most significant yet. Blogger has developed these 'dynamic layouts' which are very cool. I hope you like the new look. My clicking on 'magazine' on the left hand side you can change the way the blog is displayed. Info about us is now under a link at the top called 'About Us' and links to our other websites are under 'Our Other Stuff'. There are also direct links to our Flickr photos and YouTube videos. As always, let us know if you have any comments.
In the meantime, here is another photo of Alexander's cute ear muffs.

Welcome to the all new thebartons.net!
Congratulations, you've discovered the all new thebartons.net. It's been a while coming. This new version is still hosted by Blogger, but allows us more control over how things look. Thus we can give more space for photos, and have our own banner at the top, which makes it much more personal. Please let us know what you think. You can comment on any post using the links below it.
Posts can also be given labels so on the right hand side you'll see a heading called 'topics'. Clicking on a topic will show you all the post relating to that subject. For instance, this post's label is 'welcome'.
To encourage you to visit often, the right hand column will also keep you up to date with the latest environmental stories and news, courtesy of The Guardian.
And finally, there are some new photos of our recent trip to Paris. Click on a photo to be taken to a larger version of it on flickr, or click on the flickr link (the first link under 'top links' on the right hand side) to go to our photo page on flickr.
Enjoy!
